Have put alot of rounds throught this shotgun and have seen alot of the same thing, it will always try to feed 2 shells into the chamber. I HATE getting the shells out. I would recommend buying a benalli supernova pump or if you like semi-auto buy a stoeger m-3500.

I have had this for about a year now and have had a few problems with jaming, whenever u pump it will feed 2 shells at once and it will get cought. It is a pain to un jam it. i would recommened the benelli super nova pump if you want a excellent pump action shotgun.

Beautiful gun but disappointed that the weight indicated on the advertisement of this gun is incorrect (6lbs)!! I was looking for a gun that weighs less than my old one as it's a little on the heavy side for me and when I got this new gun it actually felt like it weighed the same. Sure enough I weighed it and they were identical in weight :( So, now I have a brand new gun that is still a little on the heavy side for me. Shoots great though! Cabelas should adjust the advertisement to 7lbs !

This gun gets overlooked ...it should be more popular than it it is.. Anyone looking for a Mossbeg 500 or a Remington 870 should just skip past both and put this gun in your hands .. The action is soooo smooth.. It has a recoil pad that actually works .. The inertia system works just as advertised .. Very easy to take down with Only one pin .. Comes with 3 chokes.. Barrell is chrome and back bored.. Very light just over 6lbs ....just pick up a high viz site for 10 bucks(3mm) and this is an awesome pea shooter ! Highly recommended!

AWESOME shotgun. Has features shotguns more than twice the price. Back-bore technology, Inflex recoil pad, awesome feel and accuracy. Also, the slide release is in the most comfortable place I've ever seen, behind the trigger guard. Have slayed many pheasants, grouse and partridge all the way up to Canada Geese and mallards. All around great gun

Was going to get a mossberg or a Remington. Ended up getting the Sxp because it had a great recoil pad and it is left handed friendly. Just seem to swing right. Had it to the range today and shot 30 winchester slugs and 15 magnum 00 buck without a fail to fire or nothing. Shoulder was not even sore. How this thing swings and cycles shells with the pump assist you can shoot it almost one handed! It is up there with the Browning bps and Benelli Nova!
